Details: Healthcare – Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Manager – Nurse Manager – NICU Providence Holy Cross is currently hiring for a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Nurse Manager that will oversee their brand new patient care wing and latest addition to the Hospital.  Providence Holy Cross provides high quality specialty services and has won several prestigious awards including the Magnet designation for excellence in nursing services.  The new patient care wing will provide 138 new patient beds, a new Women’s Pavilion, and a 12 bed Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.  About the Department:The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, the NICU, is an intensive care unit created for premature and high-risk newborns who need specialized treatment.  The NICU has equipment designed for infants and a hospital staff who have special training in newborn care.  Babies who need to be in a NICU are often admitted within the first 24 hours after birth.  At Providence Holy Cross Medical Center, our specialized staff is ready to take premature and sick babies into our current special care nursery (SCN). This special care nursery provides care for infants with less severe medical problems.  The new unit is scheduled to open in late 2010.
